JOB CLASSIFICATION: Temporary Part Time Laboratory Assistant Posting#: 2021-07

HOURS/DAYS OF WORK: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7.50 hour shifts

PROBABLE DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: April 15, 2021 or as soon as orientation can be scheduled

SALARY: As per CUPE Local 3963 - In Scope Category 440 – 479 ($20.54 - $22.81)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
Basic Life Support Level C
Intermediate data entry skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Electrocardiogram experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license, where required by the job (mobile lab collection)
Phlebotomy certification may be considered as equivalent education requirement
