JOB CLASSIFICATION: Casual Medical Laboratory Assistant
Location: Prince Albert Co-operative Health Centre
HOURS/DAYS OF WORK: Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30pm – (as needed)
PROBABLE DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: As Soon As Possible
Pay Grade: As per CUPE Local 3963 - In Scope $21.70 - $23.25 / hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
Basic Life Support Level C
Intermediate data entry skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Electrocardiogram experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license, where required by the job (mobile lab collection)
Phlebotomy certification may be considered as equivalent education requirement
